  David Lee Roth he moved to L.A. early in his career, joining different local bands until he met a band named "Mammoth". He joined this band that later became Van Halen, and was the lead singer for 10 years before he left for a solo career. As a solo artist, he made 5 albums and even recorded 1 album in Spanish. In a controversial move, he returned to Van Halen after 11 years to record 2 songs, which appear on the Best of Volume 1.
